What team are you on and what is your role at DealerOn?
Data Support, I manage the team and am fortunate enough to work with some of the most talented people in the organization.

How does your team & role contribute to the success of DealerOn?
The Data Support team is critical to the success of the company. We handle all matters pertaining to inventory intake, representation, and syndication to third-parties. Our team completes setup for new websites, supports all client inventory requests, facilitates the implementation of new OEM data sources, and works closely with the development team to ensure our tools and processes continually evolve to meet the needs of our customers and partners.

What do you feel separates DealerOn from other players in the space?
Definitely our company culture! DealerOn fosters innovation, creativity, positivity, and transparency at all levels. Our people understand and are bought into the company mission. We encourage communication and are committed to constant improvement.

DealerOn operates in a space that is constantly changing – our open and collaborative culture allows us to stay ahead of competitors and drive continuous innovation.

What do you enjoy most about working at DealerOn?
Being able to work with and learn from such talented people. Everyone here is at the top of their game and is eager to help. In addition to the vast knowledge on-tap, everyone is friendly and fun to work with!

What is a fun fact about you that people don’t know?
My full name is so long it had to be truncated to fit on my driver’s license haha.

What motivates you?
Creative endeavors; I’ve always enjoyed problem-solving and being engaged in the creative process. Learning as much as I can over a subject, thinking critically, and applying myself to develop something new is very engaging to me. Fully engrossing myself in a project that requires mastery or self-improvement is my idea of a perfect Sunday afternoon.

What are you passionate about?
Music – everything about it! On my free time I learn new instruments, compose, record, and produce as much music as I can. Everyone says this, but I truly enjoy music of all genres and have very eclectic tastes. There’s always something new to create, learn, or discover. It’s not uncommon for me to spend countless hours dialing-in an amp, or twiddling the knobs on a synthesizer until the sounds are just right.

What do you enjoy doing in your free time?
Hanging out with family, making music, and nerding out on the latest RPG or competitive game drop!

If you could have coffee with anyone from the past, who would it be?
Leonardo da Vinci or Nikola Tesla – I’d briefly bring them up to speed on our advances and inevitably walk away with a myriad of new ideas to pursue.

Who do you find inspiration from today?
It may be a cliche answer, but my mother. She worked tirelessly to raise me and my two brothers with little help from others. Our father passed away at an early age and mom was left with three kids to raise on her own. Growing up we wanted for nothing, always had food on the table, and could count on mom to help and support us through anything. It’s hard for me to fathom just how difficult a task it must have been to get through. She’s an incredible inspiration – we were extremely fortunate to be raised with her example.

If you could have any superpower, what would it be?
Omnipotence, of course – but that’s a boring answer. Let’s go with the power of flight, but not through some inexplicable self-propulsion method, I’d like the power to control my density at-will so I could effectively swim through the air. I’d be able to do something amazing but have to look like a fool while doing so – perfectly balanced as all things should be.
