Brandi Bekken, Support Business Analyst

What team are you on and what is your role at DealerOn?
I’m a member of our Customer Support Team, where I am Support Business Analyst.

How does your team & role contribute to the success of DealerOn?
If you pick up the phone and call DealerOn, you’re mostly likely going to speak to a member of our Customer Support team. They are our front line who work directly with customers to provide assistance, resolve concerns, and ensure an all-around great customer experience. It’s my job to provide insights and analytics to help our support team to work in more productive, effective, and economical ways.

What do you feel separates DealerOn from other players in the space?
We have a truly forward looking approach. Our teams are not only working for today, and ensuring our customers are happy and their daily needs are taken care of, but we also have a huge emphasis on innovating from a data driven perspective.

What do you enjoy most about working at DealerOn?
This is an easy one! It’s the people! In my five years at DealerOn I have worked alongside truly some of the best people. It’s easy to get up and go to work each day, when you truly enjoy the people sitting around you.

If you could go back to your first day at DealerOn and tell yourself anything, what would it be?
Stick it through, and you’ll be very proud of how far you can grown, and how much you can learn! This is actually my 7th position here at DealerOn. I started back in 2017 as a Customer Support Specialist, and slowly worked my way up through our teams to eventually Managing our Customer Success Team, and then recently moving into this analyst role. Over that time, I’ve learned so many new skill sets, and grown so much!

What is a fun fact about you that people don’t know?
I can solve a Rubik’s Cube in about 3 minutes. My all time record was under a minute, but I’m a bit rusty, but it’s a skill I never forgot!

What motivates you?
I am really motivated by solving puzzles; I find it very it satisfying to evaluate information or data to find the answer to a question or concern, and work to improve or correct something!

What are you passionate about?
Time together with my family. I was really lucky to grow up with parents and grandparents that worked hard to prioritize spending quality and focused time with me. As a new mom to an amazing and wonderful 4 month old, I want to ensure I follow in their footsteps, and be fully present with her during our time together, and ensure she grows up with that same experience.

What do you enjoy doing in your free time?
Board Games, Beer, and Books!

If you could have a conversation with anyone from the past, who would it be and what would you discuss?
From a historical perspective; Amelia Earhart. It would be really interesting to hear her stories in her own words and find out what really happened to her.

Who do you find inspiration from today?
My dad! He is probably the smartest person I’ve ever met, and entirely self-made/taught. He consistently reminds me that if I set my mind to something, and commit to it, anything is possible.

If you could have any superpower, what would it be?
Control over the elements (think Storm from X-Men). It would be pretty awesome to be able to control the weather!
