Alongside a passion for problem-solving, we get a glimpse into her passion for diverse experiences and a gracious attitude that keeps things running smoothly inside and out of DealerOn.

Erin Mayor, Director of Customer Support

What team are you on and what is your role at DealerOn?
I work on the Customer Support team. I am the Director of Customer Success.

How long have you worked at DealerOn?
I started with DealerOn in June last year, so about 8 months.

How does your team & role contribute to the success of DealerOn?
My team is the face of DealerOn with our customers. We work in partnership with each customer to develop strategic plans to increase website engagement, drive leads, and liaise between the dealer and various DealerOn support teams. Our goal is to increase the value DealerOn brings to each customer while ensuring their sites are functioning and effective in driving leads.

What drew you to your current field?
I have a passion for working with teams to solve problems and improve processes. If you’ve spent any time working in customer service, you know each day presents new challenges and opportunities to solve problems!

What do you enjoy most about working at DealerOn?
The people! I’ve had the opportunity to work in various industries and I’ve learned that work is work no matter where you go. It’s the people that make the difference. I have an amazing team and the pleasure of working with great people in various teams throughout the organization.

What is a small thing that makes your job easier/better?
Having a sense of humor!

What professional skill(s) do you think have helped you the most in your career?
Multi-tasking and a sense of humor!

What is the most valuable career advice you’ve been given?
Never be the smartest person in the room. But if you are, be gracious with your knowledge… who are you inspiring?

What was your first car?
1990 VW Jetta 2 Door Coupe.

Which historical figure would you most like to meet and why?
Anthony Bourdain. I’d like to talk and travel with him. I loved his curiosity of the world and the way he immersed himself into culture and history through food and traditions.

Who was your biggest role model growing up?
Kerri Strug or any other Olympic female gymnast from the 90s. I was really into gymnastics when I was growing up. I was a competitive gymnast from 2nd to 12th grade and followed elite gymnastics very closely.
