We were thrilled to be able to sit down with the leader of our Marketplace Apps Team, Christina Cuatto! Not only is she the face of our Wednesday Workshop series, Christina leads various product initiatives such as Apex Digital Retail, working diligently to bring dealerships innovative web solutions. What team are you on and what is your role at DealerOn?
I am a Group Product Manager for our Marketplace Apps Team, part of the larger Product Organization.
How does your team & role contribute to the success of DealerOn?
My team owns our Ancillary Products, which are add-ons to our core website, SEM, and SEO services. We are in charge of developing our chat product, Cyrus Chat, and our digital retailing tool, Apex Digital Retail. Our goal as an organization is to provide innovative products and solutions for dealers, as well as the end shopper.

What do you feel separates DealerOn from other players in the space?
The culture here at DealerOn. This is a hard-working group that is truly dedicated to the success of our dealer partners and their shoppers. We are constantly getting feedback on our products from dealerships, and using that knowledge to build better products. That’s what separates us, we really care about what we do and that shows in our end product.
What do you enjoy most about working at DealerOn?
It’s shifted a little bit over the years. Moving from being in the office, having that direct collaboration. While we were in-person that was great, but now we’re working at home, by ourselves so it’s a different kind of collaboration. But I love how we’re all staying connected. Again, the culture of DealerOn is something keeps me engaged and why I love working here.
If you could go back to your first day at DealerOn and tell yourself anything, what would it be?
Probably to not take everything too seriously. If you’re treating every little fire as the end of the world, you’re going to drive yourself mad and it’s not going to be fun.
We are constantly getting feedback on our products from dealerships, and using that knowledge to build better products.
What is a fun fact about you that people don’t know?
I love to travel. My favorite place would have to be Venice, Italy. I got to visit there and it was such a magical experience.
What motivates you?
I love seeing customers happy when they are using our products. Releasing a product or releasing large updates is always really exciting for the team.
What do you enjoy doing in your free time?
I love to cook in my spare time and read historical non-fiction.
Christina loves making pizza and pasta from scratch
If you could have coffee with anyone from the past, who would it be?
JFK or Jackie Kennedy. They had such interesting lives. I love pretty much anything to do with the 60s and 70s, the music, the fashion. That’s what I’ve been reading about lately.
Who do you find inspiration from today?
Not to be corny, but my mom. She’s definitely been a role model for and someone who I aspire to live up to.
If you could have any superpower, what would it be?
The ability to stop time. Oftentimes my days go by super fast, and being able to stop time and just be in the moment would be so nice to have.

Do you still do a weekly vlog? I am looking for one I watched a couple of months ago regarding Support Associates assigned to 4 person teams for improved customer support. (Small teams assigned to a few dealerships)
