The DealerOn Event Series kicked off its inaugural outing, Tuesday, July 26 at Topgolf Loudoun. We didn’t know what to expect as we starting planning for this content-rich, day-long event, but based on the over 85 attendees, we’d say it was a rousing success.

Google’s Nicole Walsh & Jessie Hochhalter took the stage first and wowed the audience with their presentation on Automotive Trends & Insights: How Dealers Can Win with Today’s Customer. Really eye-opening stuff.

Greg Gifford (the always unpredictable) didn’t disappoint when he talked about Local SEO and showcased some advanced tips & tricks, plus local marketing ideas sure to elevate a dealership’s organic search traffic.

Shaun Raines’ Happy Gilmore-themed presentation (we’re still talking about it) humorously taught the best way to use SEM to meet your customers head-on, and make your dealership the star.

Rounding out the speakers was DealerOn’s conversion wizard, Mike DeVito, who shared best practices to each dealer on how to optimize their websites and digital marketing efforts for the mobile car buyer. No, your dealership doesn’t need its own app.

Lastly, we were very lucky to have Bill Wittenmyer, from ELEAD1ONE, join the group for a panel discussion on automotive digital marketing and the importance of a proper CRM, hosted by Shaun Raines. Great questions were asked and answered, plus we got to dive even deeper into certain topics.

After the knowledge was dropped, everyone descended upon the Topgolf bays for a few awesome hours of golf. Our very own golf pro gave lots of great direction and the chicken sliders were consumed with glee. Some balls were shanked, some clubs were tossed and many a drink was consumed. What a great event.

Now that the dust has settled and we’ve had a chance to catch our breath, we’re ready to do it again. That’s right, the first one was such a great time and was so well received, we’re going to be rolling these out to Topgolf locations all over the country. The next one… October 5th, in Dallas.
